Exceptional pair of 1950's Murano sommerso white and clear glass table lamps containing exaggerated bullicante with avventurina and hardware finished in golden brass. Although not attributed to a particular glass house or artist, this beautifully crafted pair is reminiscent of the works of master glass makers Archimide Seguso and Alfredo Barbini. The lamps smooth surface, absent of ribbing or "rigadin" is uncommon for this period giving the lamps a more contemporary appearance. Available now at Venfield.
