This striking pair of late 20th-century barrel-back chairs brings a bold, modern sensibility to a classic French bergère design. Each chair features a gracefully curved, fully upholstered back that flows into sculptural arms, all framed by a richly carved and ebonized wood structure finished in a deep black lacquer. A continuous line of nailhead trim elegantly defines the barrel-back silhouette, adding a tailored, architectural edge.

Both chairs come upholstered in supple black, hair-on cowhide, which softens the formality of the frame.
