French Gilt Clear & Amethyst Floral Crystal Chandelier, 1940s

Vintage French gilt chandelier made with clear and amethyst crystal and eight candle lights. Designed with an open, basket-style framework. Features an antiqued gilt-leaf finish and sculpted metal tendrils, glass leaves, hand-cut crystal accents, amethyst glass florets, and a central fluted glass baluster. The burnished gold dish base is encrusted with faceted jewel crystals. Candles are nestled in scalloped crystal bobeches, making it a dramatic centerpiece for dining rooms, grand foyers, or formal living spaces. France, 1940s
