Vetreria Vistosi, founded in 1945, is renowned for its glassmaking technique of  blending traditional methods with contemporary aesthetics. Vistosi creations are best characterized by their unique design, craftsmanship and use of vibrant colors. The company, which has placed a strong emphasis on innovation from the beginning, often experiments with new materials, methods and technologies. Vistosi's long history of collaborations with acclaimed designers has resulted in collections that, like Angelo Mangiarotti's "Giogali" glass links, have become iconic.

This 1970s double-cone Murano disc chandelier exemplifies the Vistosi blend of traditional glassmaking with an aesthetic that suited more contemporary tastes of the times. The quintessential glass disc, a staple piece in any Murano furnace, is granted new life when given an intensely saturated blood orange color and set within clear glass of unmatched clarity.
