Created by Mexican artist Jorge Marín, this bronze statue illustrates his signature themes of balance, flight, and mythic masculinity. A muscular, winged male figure perches with elegant strength atop a polished sphere, legs extended in a poised split while reaching for the sky. His head is adorned with a dramatic, beaked carnival-style mask—an emblem of transformation, performance, and the hidden self.
Marín’s work explores the dualities of body and spirit, restraint and freedom—each element meticulously cast to reflect motion and emotional weight.
